Wire EDM Setup & Programmer

NOW HIRING – WIRE EDM SETUP & PROGRAMMER

D&R Products Co., Inc. in Hudson, MA is looking for an experienced Wire EDM Setup & Programmer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have strong Wire EDM setup and programming experience, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and excellent knowledge of precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and program Wire EDM machines
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• Develop and optimize Wire EDM programs
• Select appropriate cutting parameters and tooling
• Set up workpieces and fixtures accurately
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections
• Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make program or setup adjustments
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality
• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe

Qualifications

• Previous Wire EDM setup and programming experience required
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Proficient with precision measuring tools
• Excellent attention to detail and dimensional accuracy
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve machining problems
• Ability to work independently
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance

Shifts: Day & Night Shift
Pay: Competitive pay based on experience
