OverviewArcGIS Enterprise provides powerful mapping and analytics capabilities to government and private organizations supporting their operations and workflows in areas such as assets management, environmental impact assessments, and digital twins creation.As part of the Enterprise team, you will contribute to developing relational and graph data information models that form the core framework of ArcGIS capabilities. Your work will involve working with multiple data source providers, enabling ArcGIS to integrate with leading relational and NoSQL database platforms. Collaborating closely with experienced developers and mentors, you will gain valuable experience while contributing to innovative projects.ResponsibilitiesWork on building core data management and access framework to support ArcGIS relational and graph information modelsResearch and extend ArcGIS support for relational and NoSQL DBMS technologyBuild full-stack software components that follow industry-standard modern design patterns, development methodologies, and deployment modelsCollaborate with other developers and product engineers throughout the development processWork effectively in an Agile Scrum team environmentRequirements2+ years of experience building commercial enterprise software in Java or C/C++Experience troubleshooting and debugging softwareGood understanding of RDBMS system concepts and transactional modelsGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to analyze software/algorithms and identify improvementsBachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a STEM-related fieldRecommended QualificationsMaster’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a STEM-related fieldDatabase programming skills including familiarity with ODBC, JDBC, and Visual StudioExperience with AWS RDS, Aurora, or Azure SQL databasesPrevious involvement in a large software development projectAcademic training in GIS and/or knowledge of GIS/Esri softwareFamiliarity with Esri products like ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro#LI-TA1Total RewardsEsri’s competitive total rewards strategy includes industry-leading health and welfare benefits: medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance for employees (and their families), 401(k) and profit-sharing programs, minimum accrual of 80 hours of vacation leave, twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
