Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree from a four-year college or university, or 3–5 years of related experience and training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• We expect you to be comfortable applying basic math concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions in practical shop settings.
• We need proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• We require experience with Siemens NX.
• We require experience with Mitsubishi and/or Sodick EDM equipment.
• We are looking for strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
• We value proven analytical and organizational skills.
• We need proactive thinking and effective problem-solving capability.
• You should be able to work independently and self-direct your priorities.
• You must meet U.S. person / ITAR work-authorization requirements.

• We develop and refine EDM parameters for both new and existing projects.
• We apply G and M code programming knowledge to support process improvement and development.
• We help Manufacturing Engineers turn engineering drawings and specifications into accurate manufacturing operations and quality instructions for Operators.
• We train Operators on EDM processes and share shop-floor expertise.
• We set up and run machines and processes to complete work to drawings and specifications.
• We participate in and help coordinate on-site OEM training.
• We contribute to proactive team efforts that support departmental and company goals.
• We take ownership of new and varied requests and look for opportunities to add value.

We are Hi-Tek Manufacturing, Inc., a precision machining company founded in 1980 and based in Mason, Ohio. We support aerospace and gas turbine engine customers with conventional CNC machining alongside EDM, laser, grinding, welding, and heat treat operations under one roof, so parts stay in-house throughout the process. We are AS9100D- and Nadcap-certified, ITAR-registered, and work directly with major turbine engine and DoD customers. This is a full-time, on-site EDM Applications Engineer role in Mason, OH 45040, with pay of $100,000-$140,000 per year based on experience. Relocation assistance is not offered.
